Eric Miracle
Eric has many years of volleyball coaching experience including
1999-01: Thomas Worthington High School 2001-04: Cap City Volleyball Club 2004-06: Capital University 2006-08: University of Dallas 2008-10: Conquerors Volleyball Club 2009-Present: Richardson High School Eric is entering his 7th season as varsity coach at Richardson High School, and has been on the staff since 2009. His varsity teams have qualified for the UIL State Playoffs 3 out of the last 4 seasons. Coach Miracle’s athletes also excel in the classroom, and his varsity teams have been honored with the AVCA Team Academic Award the last 3 years. His program has raised over $15,000 for the Dig Pink Foundation for breast cancer research. Eric worked under Head Coach Pam Briggs at Capital University. His time there was highlighted by a 56-15 record, including the program’s first NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament appearance and Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. While at The University of Dallas, Eric helped lead the team to a 51-54 record, including a 21-14 record in 2006, which broke the program records for Win Percentage and Win Streak. An Ohio native, Eric teaches Data Entry to grades 9-12 at RHS. He is a graduate cum laude of The Ohio State University and is completing an MBA at The University of Dallas in Sport & Entertainment Management. This is Eric's 5th year as the Training Director for SLAM. |
