McKenzie Leduc

McKenzie comes all the way from California, where volleyball is a common pastime. McKenzie has been playing since she was 12 years old and and played all through her high school and continues to play in her free time. She was captain on her Freshman year team and was captain and libero on her Varsity team. She specializes in passing and serving. She has coached club in California for several years and has constantly played beach volleyball, even out here in Texas. 
 
I’ve been in love with the game of volleyball for half of my life. I have learned so much from playing the game and the most important thing I’ve learned is how to be a supportive teammate. Volleyball is a huge mental game. Players can get into their own heads and it’s hard to let things go unless you have supportive teammates. My goal is to pass on what I’ve learned as a player and to encourage sportsmanship, self confidence, and most importantly, teamwork. And of course help players learn to love the game of volleyball!
