Michelle Osunbor
Michelle has been submerged in volleyball for over 15 years. Raised in Dallas, she competed locally at Hebron High school. There she was a multi sport athlete who received numerous awards in volleyball, basketball, and track. She went on to play collegiately at Long Beach State where she was a starter in the middle, lead the Big West in blocks and helped her team to 4 consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and 3 Big West Championships. Internationally, Michelle lead her league in blocking and helped win the league championship.
While coaching at Vernon College, Michelle assisted the Lady Chaps to a 15th national ranking as well as a NJCAA Region V Championship. In 2013, Michelle coached at Alabama State University where the team went on to win the SWAC championship as well as their first NCAA tournament appearance that year. Michelle brings a wealth of coaching knowledge from the club, junior college, Division I, and international level of volleyball. |
