In high school Scout was a three-year letter-winner and two-year starter on the back row for coach Jolene Vinson at Prosper (Texas) High School. During her high school career Scout earned All-District 11-3A first-team honors leading the Eagles with 320 digs and 53 service aces as a senior in 2011; an All-District 11-3A honorable mention pick finishing junior season of 2010 with 271 digs and 43 service aces; helped PHS to three district, bi-district and area championships in each of her three seasons on the varsity squad as the Eagles finished as region runners-up in 2010 and 2011; was presented with the Eagle Heart Award as a senior. Furthermore, Scout earned Academic All-District, Academic All-State and All-America Scholar accolades as well as competed at the club level for 6 years. She continued playing vollleyball in to college at Midwestern State University and then later transferring to Alabama State University. During her career at Alabama State University she has made the honors roll and deans list each semester, was named to the academic All-American team, and made 2nd team all conference. Along with her other collegiate accolades, Scout helped ASU win their conference and enter the NCAA Division 1 National tournament. Scout graduated with a B.S. in psychology and is pursuing a masters degree at UTA . During high school and college she mentored under AVCA Hall of Fame Coach, Ruth Nelson, working with Coach Nelson's BYOP youth program and assisting with athlete training and camps. Scout has had the opportunity to coach all ages from kindergarten through high school.
