Kara Washington

Kara Washington is a skilled and passionate volleyball coach with a strong background as a versatile player and student-athlete. She played collegiately at Dallas College – Richland as an outside hitter and defensive specialist, where she was recognized as a Second Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference selection for her impactful all-around play.
A standout at Henderson High School, Kara earned First Team All-District honors as a senior and was named the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2022. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond the court, earning Academic All-District honors three times and membership in the National Honor Society, reflecting her strong academic foundation and leadership.
Kara’s well-rounded experience as both an offensive threat and defensive anchor makes her a valuable asset as a coach. She brings energy, attention to detail, and a team-first mentality to her coaching philosophy, inspiring athletes to work hard, play smart, and grow with confidence both on and off the court.
