Kiran Mattu

Kiran Mattu is a dedicated volleyball coach with over 15 years of playing experience and a strong commitment to youth development both on and off the court. She began playing volleyball at age 10 and has since built a well-rounded athletic background, competing at Plano East and playing for top club programs. Throughout her playing career, Kiran has excelled in all-around positions, gaining a deep understanding of every area of the game.
In addition to her indoor experience, Kiran currently continues her love for the sport through competitive play in a sand recreation league, showing her continued passion for the game and commitment to staying active in the volleyball community.
Outside of volleyball, Kiran brings her leadership and teaching experience into her coaching, working as a 4th grade teacher in Richardson with multiple years of classroom experience. Her ability to connect with young athletes, communicate clearly, and create a supportive learning environment makes her a natural mentor and positive influence.
Kiran’s blend of long-term playing experience and teaching expertise allows her to coach with both technical precision and a nurturing, growth-focused mindset.
