Mak HillMak Hill is a dynamic volleyball coach and former Division I athlete with a strong background in both high-level competition and team leadership. A versatile side hitter who played outside and right side at the collegiate level, Mak brings years of experience, a competitive edge, and a passion for player development to the coaching world.
A standout at Reedy High School in Little Elm, TX, Mak was a four-year varsity volleyball player. As a senior, she played a key role in helping her team become the 2020 Texas District 9-5A Champions and advance to the third round of the Texas 5A playoffs. That same year, she recorded 159 kills with a .277 hitting percentage and was named Second Team All-District. Mak also earned multiple academic honors and built her club resume earning medals at USA Girls Junior National Championships in both 2019 and 2021. Mak went on to play collegiate volleyball at Saint Louis University, where she made an immediate impact as a freshman and continued to grow as a sophomore. In her second season, she appeared in 24 matches (76 sets) and finished fifth on the team with 187 kills, earning spots on both the Arkansas State Invitational and Billiken Invitational All-Tournament teams. Across her college career, Mak built a reputation for her powerful hitting, smart play, and competitive drive—qualities she now brings to her coaching. Her journey through top-tier club, high school, and collegiate programs has shaped her into a well-rounded leader, passionate about teaching the fundamentals of the game while inspiring athletes to push beyond their limits both on and off the court. |
