Kia Munoz

​Kia was born and raised in Abilene, Tx. Shes tarted playing volleyball at age 12 all the way through graduating high school. While in high school, she made Varsity as a sophomore playing DS then became Libero and captain both junior and senior year, earning a district title, 2nd team all district, best server award, best defensive specialist award and was selected for FCA All Stars her senior year. She also was playing club for Abilene Aces where her team qualified for USAV nationals, placing top 10.
Kia began her coaching career at Abilene Aces and then moved to Key City Volleyball (both Abilene club teams). Her teams won countless tournaments, earn bids and receive invites to nationals. This will be her 7th year coaching club volleyball.
Kia graduated McMurry. University in May 2021 and is currently an 8th Grade English/Language Arts teacher in Dallas, Tx.
My daily reminder and motivation for the girls is to "love the game so much that you leave it all on the court every time. no regrets and no do overs because you did it right the first time"
