Makenna Montgomery

Makenna Montgomery is a dedicated volleyball coach and former collegiate athlete with nearly a decade of playing experience at the middle school, high school, club, and college levels. Her journey through the sport has equipped her with a strong understanding of both the technical and mental aspects of the game, as well as a passion for developing athletes on and off the court.
Makenna competed at Dallas College – Richland, where she continued to hone her skills and contribute to a competitive program. Prior to her collegiate career, she played for seven years of club volleyball and was a standout student-athlete at Longview High School. Her efforts earned her Academic All-State honors as a senior, along with Academic All-District recognition, reflecting her dedication both in the classroom and on the court.
Known for her work ethic, consistency, and leadership, Makenna brings a thoughtful and encouraging approach to coaching. She is passionate about helping young athletes grow in confidence, improve their technique, and learn valuable life lessons through the sport she loves.
This is her third year with Slam Volleyball.
