Shelbey Deemer

Coach Shelbey was born in the small West Texas town of San Angelo before moving to McKinney at the age of 3. She began her volleyball career shortly after and fell in love with the sport as a young girl. In 2012 she graduated from Heritage High School being a varsity starter for all 4 years and leading the Lady Coyotes in kills as an outside hitter. She was also a recipient of the 2011 Coaches Award. Coach Shelbey graduated in 2015 from the University of Texas (Hook ‘Em!) with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She has been coaching volleyball since 2017 with the goal of promoting a positive and healthy environment for young athletes to develop a passion for the game, and for themselves.
